This 40 minute compositional piece released on Sono Sensing, responds to environmental protection, exploring the soundscape of Amager Fælled, a nature reserve in Copenhagen. Field recordings made in 2021 are developed through listening closely, placing emphasis into the breathing spaces of nature, bird calls, and the bond between people and their environment as they attempt to reclaim nature from urban development and construction.

The piece shifts between recorded sounds of the landscape and its ambience, woodwind improvisation, and compositional variations that observe the changes that will occur once buildings are constructed on this land, putting this vast nature and its biodiversity under threat.|
